About apiSARSEMT
Created and maintained under the auspices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum established the apiSARSEMT email list service to disseminate timely information on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Emerging Microbial Threats (EMT). The service is intended for individuals and organizations, which provide health and human services to the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in the United States. As a community education effort, this service also aims to provide prevention information by raising awareness and understanding of SARS and similar emerging infectious diseases.
